pcYourPod let's you play music from your iPod on your PC. The interface has the same controls as your iPod, so you will know how to use it right away. You can use your mouse and the clickwheel controls, or use the arrow keys to control pcYourPod. Even press and hold the Play/Pause button to exit.

pcYourPod always stays on top of your other applications. If you want to hide it, just click on the icon in your system tray . Clicking it again will bring it back.

Getting Started:

pcYourPod will automatically detect an iPod connected to your computer. pcYourPod will search all of your drives for an iPod_Control directory, and if found will find your iTunesDB. If your iPod doesn't have the iPod_Control structure you can use Settings -> Change DB Location to find your iTunesDB file.

Use a Backup of Your iTunes Databases:

You can also make a backup of your iPod on a CD or DVD and play music from it. Have your music on your computer even when you don't have your iPod with you! When your iPod is connected to your computer it shows up as a normal disk drive. Just make a backup of the iPod drive and play your music from any PC. See the pcYourPod Support Page for complete instructions. Note: There can be a delay when some CD/DVD start reading data. If it happen often you may need to update your drive's driver.

Skin pcYourPod:

pcYourPod comes with a few "skins" that change it's look. You can use any bitmap or JPEG file as your skin, personalize your pod. Click on Settings -> Change Skin to find the file you want to use. The optimum size of the graphics file is 151 by 334, but any file will be loaded.

Registration:

pcYourPod is shareware, it is free to try for 30 days. After the trial period playing will be disabled. Registration is $10 US and payment can be made thru PayPal with a cridit card and an e-mail address. Follow this link for more information:

Registration will apply to all future versions and will allow us to continue adding cool features. A registration code will be e-mailed to you, just copy the code from the e-mail and paste it into the Settings -> Register screen.
